If you are a writer and feel your views and interests fit within the boundaries set forth in the mission statement I would welcome your contributions. Feel free to contact me via email and/or submit a sample of your work. All work submitted would remain your property but would be subject to editing. You would retain final approval of the finished piece. You would also be totally responsible for any liability issues that may result from your statements. The only reward you can expect is the enjoyment you may bring to others and a sense of accomplishment. Subject matter is open to whatever you want to write about; sports, entertainment, arts, music, hunting, fishing, history, folklore, etc. Just consider it creative writing for adults.

Mission Statement

I am concerned for the future of this nation. I believe one of the chief threats to our continued existence comes from the extreme elements of American political and religious ideology. Therefore, the purpose of this site will be to promote the concepts of open mindedness and tolerance of our differences. By providing a platform for moderate thinkers on either side of the spectrum, we can hopefully help slow down the continued polarization that threatens to weaken the glue that binds us as a nation. 

There will be few rules regarding submission of input. I do not welcome anyone who I judge to be extreme. If your beliefs are chiseled in stone, or you condemn those who don't agree with you, or you see those who don't accept your views as "the enemy," don't expect to have your ideas published here. If you cannot resist the temptation to scream at and/or call others derogatory names, please go somewhere else for your entertainment.
